Obituary of Dorothy Logan

Dorothy Elizabeth Logan, age 91 of Westville passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow with her loving family by her side. She was a daughter of the late William and Roxena (Nicholson) Clark. Mum is survived by her children, June Nixon (Charles), Vancouver; Vonnie Hale (Jed), Truro; Clarke (Susan Green), New Glasgow; her grand children Lisa, Charles (Jr.), Jerry, Jennifer, Bonnie Jean, and Jonathan;. She lived to enjoy her 10 great grand children, Matthew, Jack, Elsie, Claudia, Jennika, Jayda, Keevan, Zack, Mullen, and Riley. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bill; three brothers, Bill, Murray and Johnny Clark , in-laws Jean Clark; James and Doris Logan; Gordon and Louise Logan; Thurza Rutherford; Winnie and Roy Bigsley, Rita and Leonard Nicholson. She will fondly remembered by sisters-in-law, Irene Clark, Calgary; Dorothy Boehk- Clark, New Glasgow and brother-in-law Chet Rutherford, Truro and many nieces and nephews. Mum love her friends and always helped them when ever she could. She especially enjoyed working with her mother at the Rotary suppers and the Church. Mum spent her life serving others, especially caring for her mother, her father, and her husband in their times of need. Mum was an avid bingo player, enjoying the social times with her many friends. A family service conducted by her son-in-law, Father Charles Nixon was held at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville on Monday.
