Obituary of Marybel Beniot

Joan “Marybel” Benoit, age 71, of Green Hill, Pictou Co., passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2015, at her home. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Josiah and Helen (Campbell) Rundle. Marybel worked at West Pictou District High School for several years. She enjoyed her sewing and crafts and took a great interest in community affairs, especially the Boy Scouts. After retirement, she enjoyed her winter months in Florida, meeting many friends. Marybel will be dearly missed by her husband Donald; sons, Jason (Anita), Fredericton; Brian, Collingwood Corner; grandsons, Nathan and Luke. She was predeceased by her brother Tommy Rundle. Special thanks to the V.O.N. for their kindness. Marybel is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Meredith Fraser officiating. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the V.O.N.
