Obituary of Annie Quinn
Annie Elizabeth Quinn, age 95, of New Glasgow, formerly of Westville, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015, in Valley View Villa with family at her side.
Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Bigney) Turner.
A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be dearly missed by daughters, Nancy MacFarlane (George), Stellarton; Debbie Keeler (Basil), Stellarton; Carol MacLean, Lourdes; sons, Lloyd (Krista), New Glasgow; Melvin (Marie), Dartmouth; Ronnie (Joy), Churchville; Curtis (Linda), Ontario; Burt (Gerry), New Glasgow; daughter-in-law Carole Quinn, New Glasgow; 25 grandchildren, and 44 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister Pearl MacLean, Valley View Villa; brothers, Allister Turner (Vivian), New Glasgow; Doug Turner (Helen), Lower Sackville; and Rick Filmore (Matilda), New Glasgow; and her sister in law Beatrice Turner, Lower Sackville.
She was predeceased by her husband Chester; son Arthur; infant daughter Beatrice; brothers, Joseph Allen, Jerry and Lawrence; sisters, Josephine, Mary Jane, Alice MacInnis, Mabel MacIsaac, and Harriet Avery.
Mrs. Quinn rested at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Tuesday. Her funeral service was held Wednesday May 6 from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with the Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Buria was in the Auburn Cemetery, Westville.
