Obituary of Junie Bourque

It is with great sadness, I announce the death of my mother, June Doreen Bourque, 69 of Westville on Thursday, May 7, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Emma (Vigneault) Bourque. Mom devoted most of her life to helping her family. Her concern for others was always most important to her, and was always willing to do what she could for her neighbours, community and church where she served Education Coordinator for the Holy Name Church for many years. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Belle Pearce (Jason),Westville; precious grand sons, Tyler and Ryan; faithful pet Aurora; sisters, Theresa Darroch (Kevin) Marshdale; Jeanie Stewart (Edison), Westville; brothers, Jimmy (Belle), Johnny (Marie), all of Westville; sister-in-law, Donna Bourque, Westville; aunt Rosie Chennell, Westville; nephew Mike Evans (Sheila), Chelmsford, Ont as well an many other nieces, nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. Besides her parents, Mom was predeceased by sister Patsy Evans; brothers Joe, Fred, Tommy, Bernie, and infant brother Michael; sister-in-law Patricia Bourque and nephew, Andrew Bourque. Junie restedt Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Friday f Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday May 9 from the Church of the Holy Name, Westville with Father Tom MacNeil officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Name Cemetery. Donations in Junie’s memory may be made to the the Aberdeen palliative Care Society. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
