Obituary of Les Langille

Lester MacLeod Langille, of Westville, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, with his family by his side. Born in Watervale, Pictou Co., on April 16, 1940, he was a son of the late Marg (Langille) Rushton, and was a step-son of the late Orland Rushton. He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Carol (Bryan); children, Susan Mosher (Wayne), Halifax; Chawna Richardson (Jamie), Halifax; Anne (Nelson), Stewiacke; Tammy (Phil), Gairloch; Michael “Gig” (Shannon), Alma; Jenny (Billy), Stellarton; Gordie (April), Westville; 16 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister Barbara Nolan, Pictou; the loves of his life Maggie and Mickey, his beloved dogs. He was Past President of the Westville Legion and held other committee offices. He worked at Trenton Works. He loved going for drives, and hunting and fishing with his sons Gig and Gordie. Cremation has taken place. Donations may be made to Palliative Care Aberdeen Hospital or LORDA.
