Obituary of Ralph Crosby
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ralph Raymond Crosby Jr. of Westville, formerly of Scotsburn, on Wednesday the 27th of May at the Aberdeen Hospital surrounded by his loving wife and their family.
Born 1938 he was the son of Ralph Raymond Crosby Sr. and Jean Forbes Crosby (formerly MacKenzie).
Ralph spent a hardworking life in multiple jobs including many years as a long haul truck driver for Peter Sutherland and later in life as a 21 year employee with Michelin Tire Canada. With some of those years spent as a Supervisor in Service Z. In his spare time he enjoyed a good fiddle tune, a good joke and was an avid horse lover. With many happy days in the past spent at the local exhibitions and horse shows.
Ralph will be sadly missed and survived by his wife of 58 years, Lillian (Moulton) and their children Georgie of New Glasgow, Wallace (Jackie) of Trenton, Scott (Wendy) of Pictou, Mark (Wendy) of Lyons Brook and Shauna Chace (Bill) of Westville. Along with his six grandchildren, his step granddaughter, four great grandchildren and numerous brothers and sisters.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers John and Roy and grandson Justin Ralph Crosby.
Visitations were place at Eagles Funeral Home in Westville Saturday, May the 30th A private burial took place at Gladstone Cemetery on Sunday, June 31. No flowers by request and donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
