Obituary of Ethel MacCulloch
Ethel Louise MacCulloch, formerly of Gairloch, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre at the age of 96.
Born in Gairloch, she was a daughter of the late Hector and Georgina (Johnson) MacKenzie.
Ethel was the beloved wife of the late Clarence (2002); the much loved mother of Ken (Susan) and the late Clare (2004); cherished Nana of Scott (Kim) and Steve (Tanya) and Great Grandma of Kenny, Bailey, Trent, Allie, Jessie, Jerrett and Cole. Ethel was the dear sister of Hector (Eleanor), Ian (Alice) and the late Mary MacLean (Allie), Florence MacDonald (Grant), Johnson (Jessie) and Daniel.
She will be missed by many extended family, nieces, nephews and friends. Ethel was employed at Trenton Industries in Nova Scotia during WWII and continued on as a sewing machine operator at Rennie Industries in Guelph.
Her funeral service was held at the McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Interment will be in Gairloch Cemetery in Nova Scotia on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
