Obituary of Margaret Kehoe
Margaret “Margie” Kehoe, age 52 of Westville passed away Tuesday October 20, 2015 in the Halifax Infirmary with her family at her side.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Douglas and Anita (Feltmate) Clyburn.
Margie grew up in Trenton, moving to Westville after her marriage where she raised her family while providing a warm home to several foster children as well. Having graduated from the NSCC with CCA certification, Margie worked for several years at the Maritime Oddfellows Home in Pictou. Margie was an avid Bingo player and also enjoyed playing darts at the New Glasgow Legion.
Margie will be sadly missed by her husband, Delbert, son, Allan (Chanessa Kaiser); daughter, Crystal (Craig Gillis); step daughter, Patricia Stone; foster son, Kirk MacKinnon(Kim Brown); sisters, Susan Mason (Sandy), Westville; Donna Spears (Tim), Pictou; Linda Lynk (Dennis), Sydney; brothers Douglas (Shelley), Westville; Ronnie (Rose), Sydney; Rob (Shawna), New Glasgow; Henry (Janice), Westville; Greg, Westville; brother-in-law Earl Parker, New Glasgow and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister Laura Parker.
Margie rested at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Thursday, October 22. Her funeral service was held 2 o’clock Friday, October 23 from Eagles Funeral Chapel, with Captain Neil Abbott and Captain Dolores Abbott officiating. Cremation took place following her service with burial in Hillside Cemetery. Donations in memory of Margie may be made to her family or the Lodge that Gives, Halifax.
