Obituary of Edith Hayman

Edith Catherine Hayman, age 96, of Union Street, Westville, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. She was a daughter of the late Mitchell and Mary Elizabeth “Libby” (Fraser) MacNeill, Trenton. She was a member of St. Paul United Church, Westville. She is survived by her three children, Daisy Ballam (Wayne), Lunenburg; Robert, Pleasant Valley; and William (Miya), Revelstoke, BC; grandchildren, Sharon, Maple Ridge, BC, Kelley and Mitchell, Revelstoke, BC. She was predeceased by her husband Robert A. Hayman; brothers, Ross and Alfred; sisters, Flora Sample-Campbell By request there will be no visitation or funeral. A grave side committal service will be held at St. Phillip’s Cemetery, Westville at 1 o’clock on Saturday November 7 with the Rev. Doug Pilsworth officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity on your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Eagles Funeral Home, Westville.
