Obituary of Ella Tupper
Ella Margaret Tupper, 90 of Mt. Thom, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow.
Born in Millbrook, Pictou Co., on April 12, 1925, she was daughter of the late James Daniel and Jessie (MacLeod) Fraser.
Ella had a great joy for life and was a lover of snowmobiling, fishing, crafts, and the beach. She spent many years in art classes with Danny Munro and her paintings grace the walls of her family’s homes. She was a member of St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church, Salt Springs. Ella loved to spend time with her family, grand children and great grand children.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Clarice MacDonald (Danny), Mt. Thom; son John, Watervale; grand children, Rod MacDonald, Cyndi Parks, Deborah and Constance Tupper; sisters, Jean Henderson and Myrtle Wooldridge; brother Donald Fraser (Yvonne) and many nieces and nephews.
Ella was predeceased by her husband Clarence; sisters, Vera MacCulloch and Evelyn Robinson; brothers, Allister, Lloyd, James and Raymond Fraser; and infant brother Chester.
Ella rested at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville on Thursday, November 5, 2015. Her funeral service was held on Friday, November 6, from St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church, Salt Springs with the Rev. Norman Marple officiating. Burial was in the Gladstone Cemetery, Four Mile Brook. Donations in her memory may be made to the St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church or the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
