Obituary of Evelyn Hemwood

Evelyn Gertrude Hemwood, 86, Rocklin formerly of New Glasgow passed away on Monday, October 26, 2009 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Isadore and Bridget (MacGuire) Hemwood. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Anna Denoon, Markham, Ont.; Elva MacLean (George), Rocklin; Darlene Hale (John), Trenton; 7 grand children; 8 great grand children and a brother, Frank Martin (Winnie), Little Harbour. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Hemwood; a sister, Margaret Sheridan and brothers, Ambrose, Thomas, and Joseph Martin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-3 pm at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville followed by a graveside service at Lourdes Cemetery at 3:15.
