Obituary of Mary MacGillivray

Mary Freda MacGillivray, 93, of Mt. William, formerly of Westville, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Loretta (Chisholm) MacGillivray. Mary was a clerk at Wm. Partingtons Store in Westville for many years. She is survived by brother Jim, Mt. William; and several nieces and nephews Mary was predeceased by sisters, Jean Ferguson, Vera MacKenzie and Anita MacGillivray; brothers, Ralph and Robert MacGillivray. Mary rested at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Thursday, December 31 from 9:30- 10:30 a.m. followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Name, Westville with Father Peter MacDonald officiating. Burial was in the Holy Name Cemetery.
