Obituary of Caroline Atwater

Caroline Ann Atwater, age67 , of Linacy formerly of Westville , passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow with her family at her side. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Beatrice (Garney) Johnstone of Westville.. Caroline grew up in Westville moving to Linacy after her marriage. She was a former employee of Sobeys, Westside Store. A loving mother, and grandmother, Caroline will be dearly missed by her sons, Darren (Beverly), Linacy; Earle, Edmonton’ grand children Caitlynn and Devon,; Aaron, Morgan and Hailie. She is also survived by sisters, Penny Duggan, Westville; Jane Bond, Walkerville; Beatrice Weaver , Halifax; Ida Quesnel, Montreal; brothers, Fraser Johnstone (Lesley), Westville and Paul Johnstone, Linacy. She was predeceased by her sisters Brenda Emilio, Cameal Carlyle, Wanda Morris and Theresa Butler; a brothers Peter “Sonny” and Norman Johnstone. There will be no visitations or funeral service by request. A family grave side service will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the I.W.K Hospital.
