Obituary of Darrell Green

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell William Alyre Green, 53 of Westville on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. Born in New Glasgow, April 27, 1962, he was a son of the Cheryl (Noel) Green, Westville and the late John Green. Darrell had worked at Trenton Works and later Group Savoie. He enjoyed sport fishing and hunting and in his earlier years enjoyed playing hockey. Darrell was a big Boston Bruin fan, followed car racing especially driver Ricky Rudd and enjoyed his little pet dogs, Pebbles and Lucky. He will be sadly missed by his mother, Cheryl; daughters, Elysse Green, Westville; Lauren Green (Corey Caverley), Westville and grand children, Dana, Damon and Spencer; Adrianna and Anthony. He is also survived by his sister, Deanne Smith (Paul), Bangor, Maine; brother, R. Todd, Toronto; step father, Thomas Lloyd; step sister, Cathy Bowron (Angus), Sylvester and step brothers, Tim Lloyd (Lori) and Tom Lloyd (Lillian), Westville and several aunts and uncles. Visitations were held Saturday at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. His funeral service was held 2 o'clock Sunday from the Westville Salvation Army Church with Captains Neil Abbott and Captain Delores Abbott officiating. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. family flowers only. Donations in his memory may be made to the S.P.C.A.
