Obituary of Ed Brow

John Edward "Ed" Brow, 58, of Durham, passed away Nov. 4, 2009 in the Palliative Care Unit at the Aberdeen Hospital. He was a son of the late Charles and Mae ( Michaud) Brow. As a young man, Ed worked for a Shorty’s Restaurant and with Northumberland Ferries. He later became an auto mechanic by trade, working with Wilson’s towing and was presently working with Sid White’s Service Centre. Ed touched the lives of everyone he ever met. Edward is survived by his wife Marie; sons, Paul and Michael (Lori), both of Cornwall, Ont.; daughter, Ramona (John Robinson), Scotsburn; stepchildren, Rhonda DeCoff, Westville; Heather DeCoff, New Glasgow; Thomas Hodgeson (Dawn), Alma; David Hodgeson (Linda), Union Centre; Harry J. DeCoff, Alma; 17 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers, Norman (Wendy), Pleasant Valley; Joseph, Green Hill; grandmother, Margaret MacLean, Glen Haven Manor; and several aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by a brother, Francis. Visitations will be held on Thursday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. His funeral service will be held 2 o’clock Friday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with the Rev. Barb Fotheringham officiating. Interment will be in the Auburn Cemetery, Westville. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Palliative Care Society of the Aberdeen Hospital
