Obituary of Olive Miller

Olive Mildred (Power) Miller- age 92, of Stellarton, passed away peacefully at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow on May 9, 2016. Born on September 16, 1923, in East Jeddore of the Halifax Regional Municipality, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Alice Power. Olive was a veteran of World War II and belonged to the Legion Branch 28 in Stellarton, Nova Scotia. Olive was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Miller, and her son, Robert Young. Besides her son, Allan Miller and his wife Deb Miller, she will be greatly missed by her six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many friends. Olive rested at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville on Saturday, May 14, followed by her funeral service at 1pm at Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville, with Captain Neil Abbott officiating. Burial was in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
