Obituary of Clifford Lowe

Clifford Arthur “Curly” Lowe, age 74, of New Glasgow, formerly of Westville, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 with his loving wife at his side. Born in Sydney Mines, on May 15, 1942, he was a son of the late Elmer “Tink” and Winnie (Jackson) Lowe, Westville. Cliff was the owner and operator of Andy’s Taxi for 13 years until his retirement. He was a fun loving guy who loved a good joke and a good story. He never met a person who he could not talk to. He was immensely proud of his two children and four grandchildren. Cliff will be dearly missed by his wife of 50 years, Isabel (Whytewood); daughter Lisa Cook (Rick), Greenhill; son Michael (Michelle), Hopewell; grandchildren, Rhiannon Cook (Matt Hame), Halifax, Morgan Cook (Alex Morris) , Halifax, Devin Cook (Danielle O’Brien), Greenhill, and Sarah Lowe, Hopewell; sister, Nettie Conway (Bill), Westville; nephews, Steven Conway (Felize), Turkey and Jason Conway (Annie), New Glasgow. His family received visitors on Saturday at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. There will be no funeral service by request. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care. Thank you to Dr. Kwasnik, Palliative Care nurses, especially Rhonda and Elizabeth, and the V.O.N., especially Nadine. Special thanks to the Hoodies for all your love and care, and to Don and Pat for all the excursions.
