Obituary of Joan Bruce

Joan Bruce, 94 New Glasgow, passed away November 20, 2016 in the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in Fife, Scotland. September 11, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William and Jane (Prophet) McNab. Joan was a war bride and a Registered Nurse at the Aberdeen Hospital for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald and special aunt Daisy (Prophet) Milne. Joan is survived by her daughters, Linda (David) Pattison, Rawdon and Nancy (Donald) Thompson, Westville; grand sons Adam Thompson, Westville; Richard Thompson, Milford; and Matthew (Samantha) Thompson, Middle Sackville and great grand daughter Goldie. There will be no visitations or funeral service. Interment will be in Lorne Street Cemetery, New Glasgow under the direction of Eagles Funeral Home, Westville.
