Obituary of Richard Favier

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Richard Clarence Favier of Riverton formerly of Westville. on December 26, 2016. Born September 14, 1943 he was a son of the late Cyrus "Saddie" and Lottie Favier (nee Bigney) of Westville. Richard is the dear brother of Isobel Conrad (late Harold Conrad) and predeceased by his brother Murray Favier (late Irene Favier). Richard will always be in the hearts of his nephews Perry Conrad (Jackie), Neven Favier (Joanne) and Steven Favier. Richard was a great uncle to Michael Conrad (Patrizia), Melissa Conrad (Kirk Haunts) and Michael Favier. Richard was a great-great uncle to Adamo & Francesca Conrad and Kingsley & Reese Haunts. He holds a special place for each of us and will never be forgotten as his name remains as part of the last crew on the Canadian Naval Ship H. M. C. S. Haida in Hamilton Ontario. We would like to thank Ken and Sheila MacLeod for their continuous support and friendship during Richard’s illness and especially his last few months in hospital. His family received visitors on Tuesday at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. There was no funeral service by request. Interment was in the Auburn Cemetery, Westville.
