Obituary of Eleanor Graham

Eleanor Louise Graham, 103, Westville passed away peacefully on Friday April 7, 2017in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Born in Pictou on May 31, 1913, she was a daughter of the late James William and Susan (Bowdridge) MacLean. She will ve dearly missed by daughters, Margaret Mitchell (George), Liverpool; Laureen Betts (Robert), Westville; four grandsons, Michael Mitchell (Susan Morse), Centrevile; Stephen Mitchell, Toronto; Dr. Shaun Betts (Dr. Jeanette Lawlor), St. John’s; Graham Betts (Dawn Chapman), Westville; three great grand sons and one great grand daughter; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Laurie in April,1962 and was the last surviving member of her immediate family being predeceased by eight brothers and sisters. Mrs. Graham rersted at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville where her family received visitors on Tuesday followed by her funeral service at 2 o’clock, Tuesday at the Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
