Obituary of Stephen Plouffe
Stephen Paul Plouffe , age 62, of Westville, formerly of Port Hawkesbury, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital with his family at his side.
Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, on February 17, 1955, he was a son of the late Henri Paul and Margaret (Bush) Plouffe.
Stephen served in the Canadian Armed Forces and after leaving the Forces worked as a carpenter in various areas, creating strong bonds with friends along the way.
A kind and compassionate person, he was always concerned for others and was very selfless. He was a devoted father to his children and grandchildren.
He will be dearly missed by his children, Tara Gabler (Jason), Chicago; Pascal Kampa-Broussseau, Calgary; Gabriel Kampa-Brousseau, CFB Deployed; Jessica Kampa-Plouffe (Denton Lohnes), Lunenburg; Alexandra Kampa-Plouffe, Westville; grandchildren, J.J., Johnny, Charlie, Olivia, and Lukah; brothers, Gary, Quebec; Michael, David, and Richard, Alberta.
Stephen rested at Eagles Funeral Home, His funeral service was held 2 o’clock Friday from Eagles Funeral Chapel.
