Obituary of Shannon Darrell Lynds

Shannon Darrell Lynds, 52, of Island East River, formerly of Wentworth, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at his home. Born in Cape Breton, he is a son of Paulette Croft, Wallace and Dennis Lynds (Vicki), Wentworth. Shannon was employed at 3 D Auto, Stellarton, and a former employee of Natural Resources in Oxford. He loved sport fishing, hunting, and enjoyed camping. He was involved in Karate, earning a 2nd degree black belt. Most of all, Shannon enjoyed his family, especially seeing his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his wife Cathy (Vint); son Josh, Amherst; daughter Malorey, Calgary; step-sons Michael, Nathan, Devon and David Buell; 2 grandchildren, Jacob and Alanna; sisters Sherry, Wallace and Amber, Truro. His family received visitors on Saturday from 12:30-1:45 at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. His funeral service was held 2 p.m. Saturday at Eagles Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Wheeler officiating.
