Obituary of Lisa Weatherbie

Mary “Lisa” Weatherbie, 61 of Cowan Street, Westville passed away on Sunday July 16, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow with her family at her side. Born in New Glasgow on January 23, 1956, Lisa was a daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Mahoney) Weatherbie. She was an employee of Michelin Tire, Granton Lisa will be sadly missed by sisters, Janis MacDonald (Bob), Tantallon; Theresa MacGregor (Kenneth), Thorburn; brothers, Mark (Lorraine), Thorburn, and Leo (Lucie), Calgary, Alberta; nieces and nephews, Rick Weatherbie (Aaron Smith); AshleyMacGregor (Dan Sheehan); Adam MacGregor (Amanda); Briana and Kiara MacDonald; Morgan and Andrea Weatherbie; great nieces and nephews, Cole and Cali; Abigail and Lilly. She was predeceased by her parents, son Cleon; and her brother George. Her family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday from The Church of The Holy Name, Westville with Father Peter MacDonald officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Name Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be to the Palliative Care Unit of The Aberdeen Hospital
