Obituary of Sarah MacDonald

Born on June 3, 1979, Sarah Rose MacDonald, left us on November 8, 2017, a day of her choosing and in a manner not understood by many, at the age of 38 years, however, she had also chosen to help others by being an organ donor. She leaves behind three beautiful boys who will miss her greatly, Nate Teffer, Conrad and Jacob Strong. She will also be missed by Bill Strong and Marc Teffer and her partner Paul Kirwan Butler; her biological mother Betty MacDonald; two half brothers; and her friend and mother by choice Caroline Carter. Visitations were held on Thursday evening at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service was Friday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville, with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to any Mental Health Help organization or to the Nova Scotia Organ and Tissue Donation Program.
