Obituary of Hilda MacPherson

; Hilda May MacPherson Westville Hilda May MacPherson, age 86, formerly of Westville, passed away Monday, January 26, 2009 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Born in Afton, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Hurst) Decoff. She was a member of the Church of The Holy Name, Westville. Mrs. MacPherson resided in Westville for most of her married life. She moved to Stellarton where she lived for a few years before going to Glen Haven Manor 3 years ago. She will be sadly missed by daughters, Kay Keating , Halifax; Pat Matheson (Bob), Westville; Sharon Hale (Allan), Charlottetown; son, Jerry (Eleanor), Merigomish; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grand children; and sister, Eileen Ryan (Elliott), Quebec; She was predeceased by her husband John MacPherson; daughter Marie; brothers, Ernie, Clifford, Clayton, Harry, Oswald and Newton Decoff. Visitations were at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service was held from the Church of The Holy Name, Westville with Father Gary MacPherson officiating. Burial was in the Holy Name Cemetery, Westville
