Obituary of Patricia Murphy

Patricia Clara Murphy (Marriott), Little Chance Harbour, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. She was the daughter of the late Clara Wilson Marriott Jenkens and the late Clarence Marriott. Pat was retired after thirty-two years with the Nova Scotia Power Corp. She was a Air Force Veteran in her younger years, and was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #29, Trenton, N.S. She spent her winters in Largo, Florida, where she was very well liked by her many friends. She returned to her home in Chance Harbour, Pictou Co., where she enjoyed her summers by the sea. She will be sadly missed by her husband Roy O’Connell; sister Barbara Cranston, Gloucester, Mass.; also several nieces and nephews in Canada and the U.S.A. She was predeceased by her first husband Ronald Richard Murphy; and sister Janet Carothers. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. Donations in her memory may be made to any charity of choice.
