Obituary of Barry Wayne Lawrence
Barry Wayne Lawrence 75, of Westville, passed away on January 16, 2018 at Glen Haven Manor.
Born in Stellarton, he was the son of the late Whitman and Kathleen (O’Moore) Lawrence.
Barry was loved by everyone who knew him, especially his family. He loved hunting and fishing and being at the camp with the boys. He also loved playing Bingo. Barry worked at Trenton Car Works for 35 years.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife and best friend Sharon (Perrin) of 57 years; his sons, Wayne (Anne), Springville; Doug (Connie), Westville; Whitman, at home; Darrell (Rose), Salem; his daughter Darlene Crockett (Allan), Mount Uniacke; 8 grandchildren, Crystal, Jason, Joey, Derek, Jasmine, and Jordan Lawrence; Michelle Hanlon, and Kayla Crockett; 17 great grandchildren; his brother Robert (Ann),Komoka, Ont.; Steve (Debby), Stellarton; sister-in-law Marlene, St. Catharines, Ont.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his father and mother-in-law Fred and Gladys Perrin; his infant great grand-daughter Lilly Grace Lawrence; brother Fraser; sisters Marylynn and Judy.
Barry is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visitation Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. His funeral service will be from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville, 2 o’clock Friday, with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Spring burial will be held in the Auburn Cemetery, Westville.
