On behalf of my brother John and me, I wish to extend our condolences to the Levo girls and the family on Carl's passing.
John and I are happy that we got a chance to see Carl and Nancy last summer on our annual road trip to Pictou County, to reminisce about our summers spent on the Levo farm, and to catch up on family news since those days.
The Levos and Carl were close to the Estonian families in New Glasgow and we as children and teenagers spent many summers on "vacation" on the farm, making hay, picking berries, and fetching the cows twice a day for milking! I spent several summers there and Carl became like a big brother to me.
Carl and Dorothy never failed to attend a funeral when members of our community passed on,so the ties were deep and much appreciated.
Again,we share your loss, and don't be surprised if we knock on your door some sunny summer day!
