Obituary of William Lloyd

William Henry "Bill" Lloyd, 66, Thorburn, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

Born in New Glasgow, on November 12, 1951, he was a son of the late William Henry and Marjorie (Porter) Lloyd, of Westville.

Bill was a nurse by profession, working in various hospitals and nursing homes, retiring from the Victoria General Hospital. He was a member of the Moore Lodge #17 I.O.O.F. A kind hearted person, Bill enjoyed his neighbourhood families , seeing the neighbourhood children and loved animals, especially working with the horses.

Bill was a life member of the American Clydesdale Association;  Member of the Canadian Clydesdale Association and the Nova Scotia Clydesdale Club  Bill was very interested in the pedigrees of Clydesdale horse  and had met many new acquaintances  searching pedigrees across the US and Canada 

He will be dearly missed by his family and his community.

Bill rested at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Sunday . The Moore Lodge #17 I.O.O.F. conducted a service 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home. His funeral service was held 11 a.m. Monday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Darlene Jewers officiating. Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery.
