Obituary of Muriel Elizabeth MacDonald

Muriel Elizabeth MacDonald, 92, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow.

Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Myrtle (Jordan) MacDonald.

Muriel had moved to Toronto where she resided for over fifty years. While in Toronto, she worked for General Electric until retirement, returning to Pictou County in 1997.

The last surviving member of her immediate family, Muriel is survived nieces Joyce Gordon and Emily Lacey and nephews Kenneth and Gary Muir.

Muriel was predeceased by her brother Archie MacDonald; sisters Annie Muir; and Ethel Haslam.

At Muriel's request, there was no visitation or funeral service. A grave side service under the direction of Eagles Funeral Home was held on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Auburn Cemetery, Westville, with Rev. Greg Dickson officiating.
