Obituary of Robert Charles Coady

Robert Charles Coady, age 69, of Wadden’s Trailer Court, Westville, passed away April 21, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, Palliative Care.

Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late John and May (Stellard) Coady.

Bob worked in the paint department of Trenton Works until retirement.  He was known to many for playing guitar and love of music.  

Robert “Bobby” will be missed by his wife Joanna (Rushton) Coady; sons, Vincent (Barb),Trenton;  Jeff (Margie), Sunnybrae;  step-daughters Donna (Frank),Truro;  Brandy (John),Little Egypt;  grandchildren, Blair, Rebecca, Jayden, and Noah; step-grandchildren, Katelyn (Jay), Hailey Dawn (Robert), Brandon (Leslie) ; his fur baby “Chloe”; brothers and sisters, John (Marina), MacPherson’s Mills;  William, Riverton;  Elsie MacDonald, Island East River; Mary MacDonald, (John) Priestville;  Gary (Doreen) , Westville; Ranny (Velvet), Priestville; Helen Chapman (John), Hillside; Nan MacDonald (Cliff), McLellan’s Brook; Corrine, McLellan’s Brook;  Tommy (Louise), Springville; George (Sheila) , Priestville; Ross (Cathy), Stellarton; Pearl Priest (Raymond), Trenton.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Debbie (MacDonald) Coady; sisters Margaret Coady and Mickey Michaud and brothers-in-law Delbert and Calvin MacDonald.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Eagles Funeral Home, Westville.  A celebration of life will be held at Summer Street Industries on April 28 from 6-12 p.m.
