Obituary of Catherine Ruth MacDonald

Catherine Ruth MacDonald, age 80, Sylvester passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. 

Born in Bathurst, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Irene (Doucette) Newington. 

Catherine enjoyed berry picking, fishing, time with her family and good chats.  Her special adventures with grandson John (who she referred to as son) could land her anywhere.  Her family was beside here throughout this difficult time

She will be sadly missed by daughters, Irene Landry and  Ruth Anderson;  son, Stewart Anderson and Robert Anderson;  several grand children,  great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren .

Catherine was predeceased by her husband Roland; son Douglas;  2 sisters and 2 brothers.

In Catherine's honor, her family will honor her life privately with burial to take place at Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Sylvester. Arrangements are under the direction of Eagles Funeral Home, Westville.
