Obituary of Ronald Druhan

Ronald Leo Druhan, 66 of Westville, passed away on Friday, June 1st , 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Colin and Mary (Walsh) Druhan.

As a young boy, Ron grew up in Mt. William and New Glasgow and took carpentry at the Pictou County Vocational School. He worked for a period of time in Ontario before returning to reside in Westville where he married Norma and lived for the past forty years. Ron liked to tinker in his garage and was presently employed with Systems Care.

Ron will be dearly missed by his wife, Norma (LeBlanc); children; Colin and Rhonda Druhan, Westville; Stephen MacDonald, New Glasgow, Brian MacDonald, Alberta; grandchildren; Ryan, Jonathan and Damen MacDonald and Joy Morrison; great grandchild, Dakota MacDonald; sisters, Mary Morris, Westville; Beverly MacGregor (Donnie), Pleasant Valley; Debra Eisnor (Gerald), Watervale; brothers, Wayne (Carolyn), Westville; Barry MacPhee (Cathy), Halifax; Matt MacPhee, Vitoria, BC. and brother in-law, Jack White, Ont.

Ron was predeceased by sister; Helen White, brother; Jimmy (Gloria) and brother in-law; Donald Morris.

Ron's family received visitors on Monday, June 4th  from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9PM at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville, from where his funeral service took place on Tuesday, June 5th at 2 o’clock with Father Peter MacDonald presiding. Burial in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Sylvester.
