Obituary of Mary Josephine Dooley

Mary Josephine Dooley, 88, of Westville, passed away Tuesday October 9, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow with her family by her side.

Born in Westville, Mary was a daughter of the late Leo and Dorothy (Munsie) Mahoney.

A quiet lady, Mary chose to be a "stay at home Mom" and being the wife of a coal miner, she devoted her time and love to her family.

Mary will be dearly missed by her daughter, Frances (Steve Conklin); sons, Kyle; Randy (Mary); Jay (Noreen); Donnie; Mike (Annie); 17 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Frances White and Lorraine Fraser (Brian); brother Leo Mahoney (Mary).

Mary was predeceased by her husband George "Huck"Dooley ; daughter in law Janice (Cyr) Dooley; sisters, Dorothy Weatherbie; brothers George (Pat) and Donnie Mahoney; brothers-in-law Fred White and George Weatherbie.

Visiting for Mary was held on Thursday, October 11. There was no funeral service by request. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
