Dear Gail and Rundle family members,
I have to go way back but there were at lease 3 times that I was associated with the Rundle family. One as a very young child when my parents would have Jessie babysit my brother and I. And I believe I took over my Halifax Herald paper Route from Jean. But the more endearing time and one that I will always remember is Bill's
kindness to my mother. For many years with no children living close by mom depended on Bill for many things. If something went wrong in the house, or to pick up either bread or milk or maybe even a bottle of rum Bill was there for her.
Bill's goodness with never be forgotten .
My sincere sympathy to you Gail and the Rundle family,
Brian Bezanson

We are so very sorry to hear of Uncle Bill’s passing. Although we didn’t get the chance to know him very well (since we live on the opposite side of the country), we know that people thought very highly of him. May your fond memories of him offer you some comfort during this difficult time. Our thoughts are with you all.❤️

I remember seeing a picture of Uncle Bill trying to feed my Dad a banana… like feeding a monkey…oh yes, it was a party and they knew how to play and have fun, but Uncle Bill like my father were both characters and both had lots of it. This picture was taken many years ago and funny how I remembered it as I was only a kid at the time, but big men with big hearts leave lasting impressions and Uncle Bill will always be in my memory as a fun loving caring husband and father. Hugs to the family as you deal with such difficult times, but Uncle Bill is up above watching and comforted knowing you will be ok…We will miss Uncle Bill.
Lots of love….Bob, Lori and Meaghan

Our deepest sympathy to each of you as you face this difficult time. Uncle Bill was a wonderful man and we will always treasure our time visiting in the summers. He shared many stories of his life and those of our relatives in their younger years. We will cherish those forever. One of David's favourite memories is fishing for mackerel with his cousin Mary and Uncle Bill. Now he knows where the phrase 'Holy Mackerel' comes from! Uncle Bill will always hold a special place in our hearts. Love & hugs to all of you. David & Lynda
