Dear Bonnie, Barbara, and Nancy, I was sorry to learn of your mother's passing. Our families have long since lost touch but I thought you should know that I still have fond memories of the Camerons when we were neighbours. Of course my late sister Anne Marie and Bonnie were close friends while I was the annoying kid brother buzzing around in the background. But I do recall playing on your side yard on many evenings while our mothers chatted, and a trip we all took together to PEI during old home week in the late 50s. And I will never forget your grandmother at her observation post in your front porch, always ready with a smile and a wave as I trudged or ran by depending on whether I was going to or from school. It seems to me that your mum was always just as cheerful. She certainly was kind to Anne and to me. My condolences.
