Dear uncle. Many a year has passed but memory are with us a life time.
As the oldest you took steps that made your sister and brother so proud of you. To take yourself and your young wife to the other side of the world without any family was a brave move, but this move gave you a wonderful life and made you the man you became, and a have you a son born out of Scotland ( sorry Peter ). As a child we were always told about our uncle in Canada and I was always interested in this story and how one day I would see you there. But alas too many years and too many maybe next years have passed for that to happen. But I did meet your wonderful son, daughter in law and granddaughter and for that I’m happy. I am glad that I have the stories, the photos and the Constable name. Maybe one day, and I hope you are looking at my daddy now
