Obituary of Marjorie Taylor

Sarah Marjorie "Marje" Taylor, 98 , North Street, Westville passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Roderick and Katherine (Stroud) Ross. Marje was a member of St. Paul United Church. She loved her family, had a kind heart for animals and birds; enjoyed gardening and also enjoyed poetry and books. She is survived by her son, Donald Ross Taylor (Jane), Stellarton; grand children: Christopher Taylor (Cheryl), Trenton; Natalie Taylor (Jeffrey Jenkins,) Westville; Tracey Hoyt Marshall, Toronto; Allison Hannah, Mount Albert, Alta; Angela Hoyt Fitzhugh, Gananoque, Ont.; Gary Hoyt, Toronto; brothers, Don Ross, Little Harbour Road and Ont.; Bill Ross (Bernadette), Little Harbour Rd; special niece, Sandra Demings and several other nieces and nephews. Marge was predeceased by her husband Ephraim "Ephie" Taylor; a son Sandy Hoyt; grand son Ryan Taylor; sisters, Helen Dowell (Bill) and Mary Ross; brother Duncan Ross; infant brother Jimmy Ross and sister in law Willena Ross. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends on Friday from 7-9 pm at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her memorial service will be held at 11 am Saturday at Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville, Westville with Rev. Doug Pilsworth officiating. Family flowers only, donations in his memory may be made to the S.P.C.A.. The family would like to thank Drs. MacLaughlin and Forbes, and the special staff of Glen Haven Manor for their kindness and care of Marge these past 5 years.
