So sorry to hear of Lawson's passing ( it was such a shock). My thoughts & prayers are with you all at this difficult time. He was a great friend to Delmar & it was so nice to see you both just 4 months ago at Delmar's funeral. I am sorry I didn't make it over to his funeral as I have my grandson with me, his parents are away on vacation. Take comfort in knowing others are thinking of you at this sad & difficult time.

Condolences to Sharon and Family I had the pleasure of knowing Lawson for 45 years. He worked hard and deserves a lot of credit for found his wood contracting business as well as Maritime tractor. There was never a dull moment being around Lawson a few examples would be: Bribing the head of security at the Sydney steel plant sale.A $200 payment got us ahead of 100 in the lineup I thought the worst would happen!Lawson said it was the best $200 he had ever spent. The time in Trafalgar he was eating his lunch and a hibernating bear came to life beneath him. The canoe trips on the rivers of New Brunswick when his canoe overturned. His excuses with the police for avoiding speeding fines.I can recall trying to sleep in the crew cab in Cape Breton and Lawson"s snoring almost shattering the windows. Snowmobiling trips to the Hermit of Gully Lake etc..I could write a book about Lawson"s stories they were very entertaining. He will be missed!

Sharon and family, we wish to pass our condolences on to you and yours on the loss of a great husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, successful business man and over all a great person. I have fond memories of Lawson during the few years we work together. Always there to help and guide us along in all things we did. Although it’s been many years since I seen him there is not a month goes by when I am faced with an issue that I don’t comment to myself “what would Lawson do”. Hold on to your memories and say we will meet again! Love from our family to yours.

Dear Sharon, Lisa and families,
It is with sincere sympathy that we are thinking of you. Sharon, such a true partnership you had with Lawson that is to be admired. Lisa, from childhood memories of camping in Cape Breton to our teenage years and then move together to Ontario, your Dad always had a quick smile for me that I will always remember. A family man to the core, I can imagine how much you will all miss him. He was the definition of a rugged teddy bear. His incredible work ethic and support of his family is a part of his legacy. We are sending our love from Ontario and wish we could be in NS with you at this most difficult time. Hugs to everyone!
