Obituary of Muriel Langille

Muriel Mary Langille, 94, of Westville, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (Chapman) Weatherbie.

Muriel enjoyed traveling and camping, especially her stays in P.E.I. A loving, quiet person, her family was her greatest enjoyment, especially her visits with her grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter Eileen Pitts, PEI; son James (Debbie), Truro; Lawrence "Larry" (Nancy), Westville; special niece, Judy MacLean ; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and sister Gloria MacNeil, Halifaxc.

She was predeceased by her husband James; sisters, Bernetta Porter, Frances Carrigan, Mildred Weatherbie, Ethel Mae Whitty, Viola Ransome, Angelina Murphy, Lila MacLean, and Veronica in infancy; brothers, Frank "Bubs", Anthony, John, Garfield and George Weatherbie.

There will be no visitations. Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Church of the Holy Name, Westville, with Father Peter MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Name Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Church of the Holy Name or the S.P.C.A.
