We are all sad that Jeannie has passed. She was great, and we will miss her.
My favourite recent memories are when she attended our 50th wedding anniversary three years ago and would not stop dancing when the music was going. In fact, Susan had trouble getting her to leave at the end. She was still ready to keep going.
I last saw her in Pictou on July 1 and she was not talkative. As I was chattering on, I called her Mary. Then I had to apologize that I had used her mother’s name instead of hers. She said, “I noticed.” Take that!
Our thought and prayers are with the whole family at this difficult time.
