We are sorry to hear of Ted's passing.
He had such a kind way about him. My best memory of him was when he and Dorothy came to visit our mother just before she passed. The way he calmed her, with just his way.
He will be missed.

Dot, I’m so sorry for your loss. I have nothing but the absolute fondest memories of Ted.
While I don’t remember digging for clams when I was 3, I do remember later visits when we would go out to the sand bars with buckets in hand digging for clams. I also remember Ted telling me stories of fishing adventures, and showing me the tail fin of a tuna he caught. It was at that point of my life when I started to understand how big fish could get! Going out to the coast were some of the best memories I have of my childhood, and Ted will always be a part of those.

Dot, you know we would like to be with you. We would like to tell some Ted stories. We think they will bring back fond memories.
Teds kindness to our family was truly amazing. When we would visit N S with our kids and later our grandchildren , Ted always found time to do fun things with them. With our boys it was always the fishing trips..They always caught fish. For some reason Ted seemed to know where the fish were.
Years later with our grandkids it was the ocean and the beach
We remember when Ted took Nick who was three years old on a clam digging adventure on Tony River beach.. When on the sandy beach Ted would jump on the sand causing the clam to aquirt its juice into the air .When Nick saw this he would go into hysterics , he was so excited. Then Ted would dig out the calm and give it to Nick. For Nick this was an amazing introduction to the ocean and he came home with a pail full of clams. Ted had a great love and understanding of kids. Not many years ago he took our teenage grandchildren.on a tour of Port Hood Island.Ted knew everything about the ocean and the rocks Their experience on the back beach was such a learning adventure. Ted had such a modest way of passing on his knowledge.

So many great memories of Ted --of his kindness, his helpfulness, his infinite knowledge of every aspect of life. So many times I have said "ask Ted". His trust in others---He let me drive his new MGB. A vivid memory is when he constructed the pond.Amid some speculation by others,Ted knew it would work and it did. It was an honor to be related to you, Ted. With fond memories, Marina
