Frances, I always enjoyed our weekly visits with you and Billy. Murphy enjoyed the special attention he got from Billy, usually a little story about your dog and extra ear rubs for Murphy. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.

Dear Frances & family, we are very saddened to hear that Billy has passed, he certainly was the life of the party as described here in his obit, we thoroughly enjoyed any times we’ve spent over the years with him (whether travelling together to and from the mill, at the mill, on MacKay Street, the occasional visit to beautiful Eden Lake, and then Glen Haven). Billy was always making us laugh & have fun, he will be forever remembered with a smile & whenever a funny story is being told (he loved to tell stories). Some of the mill guys & Gary’s last visit to Glen Haven before the onset of Covid was a good one and will always be special. Thinking of you & sharing in your sadness during this emotional time of loss, sincere condolences. Gary & Cindy Perrin

our sympathy to all the Burt Family, we loved having Billy and Frances as neighbors and were lucky to still visit a few times at Eden Lake. Bill was so thoughtful as a neighbor and to our son as he enjoyed many conversations with him about hockey. I remember coming home for lunch and there was a dead skunk in the pool and there was Billy who removed it for me without being asked. That's the kind of man he was.Enjoy your memories.

My heartfelt condolences to Frances and all of your family. Billy was a pleasure to know. He always had me laughing. My favorite memory of him is teaching me how to shave him. We had to leave the shaving cream on until his whiskers softened up. He will be missed very much. Hugs
