Celebration of Life
Getting together with family, friends and neighbours, sharing a few drinks, stories, good food and of course dancing was always on the menu. He preferred the idea of sharing laughs and stories about the one we lost.
So in his memory we are having our annual Summer Blast party in His honour of course!
Please join his family in. “A Celebration of Life”. To be held at his home -
179 Munroe Ave Ext on August 14, 2021 at 6pm.

Ive known Jim for many many years from the old Buckenere boat he purchased from Dr. MacQuarrie back in the Pictou Landing Yacht Club days , to his concrete days while I worked the concrete truck !!! I also played a lot of music over the years while in the band Cherokee to watch he and Betty or he and his daughter put on an excellent dancing performance in the audience. Only a couple days ago I was thinking of him . God love you JIm ; your paving the hall floors in heaven now and dancing with the angels .
Sadly missed ; Jackie Druhan , Trenton

Betty and Linda and family: So sorry to learn of your loss. Jamsie was such a fine and upstanding man in his community; admired and respected by everyone. What a wonderfully full life he has lived and shared with family and friends. May you and your family find peace and strength in the many priceless memories you have made over the years, and may they bring a smile to each of you. Please accept my deepest sympathies as you mourn the loss of someone so special. May God bless. Rob Pitts

Betty Linda & Family: John & I are so sorry to hear that Jamsie has passed away. When you speak of the Concrete Man, it brings back memories with us of when he did our basement floor in 1965. I also enjoyed our talks at the end of his driveway when he was out to get the morning paper. That was back in the early mornings when I walked our street. He was a Very Special person indeed knowing all our lives. He will be truly missed by all that knew him. God Bless. RIP Jamsie. John & Jean Pitts
