Dear VandenEynden family,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your dear mom. My dad was sharing many memories of their early years in Granton,
and eating a whole loaf of your mother’s bread. I have treasured memories also. What a beautiful tribute to your mom in photos and such an inspiring obituary!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.
Sincerely, Gerrit and Leona Schuurmans

Dear cousins and family van den Eijnden
My aunt Tonny, she passed away
Suddenly on a very sad day
An old but very wise woman is gone
She went to the bright light that asked her to come
You all are gonna miss her that is clearly
But there are also many memories so dearly
I wish you all a lot of strength for the future to see
And i want you to know she was very special for me
I will cherish the nice memories from holidays
It was always a warm welcome at her place
Ricky van den Eijnden

Dear family Van den Eynden and friends, I'm sorry for your loss, sending my condolences. I met aunt Tonny once years ago when she was visiting the family in the Netherlands; what a wonderful woman! Such a beautiful collection of photographs, cherish the life she led. What a beautiful tribute; is there a picture of the four van Brussel sisters Tonny, Door, Mia and my mom Frida? It brought me a tear and a smile. Thinking of you, Theodoor van Heugten

What a wonderful tribute to such an amazing, strong lady. Well done! I have so many memories growing up alongside of your family. I wish I could spend time reminiscing with all of you. However, due to COVID-19 and distance, That is not possible. Your parents and your brother John will be forever in my heart, thoughts and prayers and most of all my memories. Take care of one another.

We wanted to send our condolences to your family. And, to echo Ms. Mattatall’s note, we don’t know any of the family, but we’re struck, too, by the beautiful obituary and pictures that express/capture herself and her beautiful family life. We are from families of 10 and 13, respectively, and appreciate all that went into raising us. You have certainly sent a message, with your mother’s obituary, on what it takes, and the beautiful legacy she and your father left yourselves ,neighbours, and fellow Nova Scotians. Take care, and thanks again for your mother’s tribute.

First of all I want to say I don't know any of you, and never had the pleasure of knowing your mom either, but wanted to say what a beautiful tribute you have written of her, and what lovely pictures you shared. It certainly made her life story come alive and show how much of an impact she made on your lives, always present, always firm but loving. What a life she must have had raising seven kids with her husband and then finding the time to help others. Your parents were such a great looking couple and you can see the love they had for each other and for all of you in the pictures and your words. I hope it gives you comfort knowing they are together again in Heaven. You are so lucky to have each other to lean on, to reminisce with and laugh about good times together. My deepest condolences to you all for your loss.
