I am so sorry for you all as you grieve for Pat. I met him at Barb and Rick’s home a few years ago. His joie de vivre, the deep love between he, Barb and Rick, and family, his story telling and his culinary skills- we made cinnamon buns for the family at breakfast- left me an impression of a warm, dear person who had contributed so much to his community with heartfelt enthusiasm and caring . Bless you all and Rest In Peace Pat. Fondly, Debbie Gomez

So sad and so very sorry to hear about the passing of Pat. We are going to miss him at Foodland. He was in two and three times a day. Myself and the foodland staff always had interesting chats with Pat. We will miss him. God Bless.

Mary K. and I are very saddened by the passing of Pat. He was an integral part of our lives for many years and we will dearly miss his frequent visits…and the thousands of coffees we shared together over the years. He was our “Paddy Dan” or “Patty Dan.” Born on St. Patrick’s Day he was proud of his Irish roots and March 17th was as important as Christmas to him. Rest in Peace ol’ buddy!

My sincere condolences to you all in the passing of your love one. Pat was a man with many talents and was good at what he did.
I enjoyed listening to him talking of his many life experiences. He was a smart man. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Pat during the construction of the Africentric Park in New Glasgow back in the late 90's. I will always remember Pat and it was a pleasure to have known him..

Pat was an amazing man. He was a friend I got to know at SMU and afterwards. He was full of life and loved some fun and was very spontaneous. He drove a group of us around Cape Breton. Just announced once "who wants to go to CB?" And of course we went. We had many conversations well into the evenings. Loved his spirit and I'm sad to hear he's gone. God bless Pat. My best to his family xx. Kathy Gaudet
