June was one ofthe most interesting, dynamic, energetic, caring and fun people I've ever encountered. Our paths crossed often over a span of twenty years, and I think of her often when my spirits need a lift.
She lived a long and good life, and I'm sure, will live on in the hearts of those who have had the good fortune to meet and know something of her.

Hello. So sorry to hear of her passing. Just finding out about it now, after a drive to westville and see the house is for sale. Junes mom was my grandfathers sister, he is Billy Baker of Pictou. I have fond memories of Junie visiting my grandmother and mother in Pictou many many times over the years. Sometimes Junie would bring a young girl Rachel with her to visit. In recent years I had intended to contact her to see her family history she had of the Baker family. Such a nice lady. I loved the house they had in Greenhill with so many antiques and interesting items. Wish I had made the time to visit her. Condolences to the family. I have this photo on my wall and always thought it was her. I will add it anyway, maybe someone can tell me if that is her or not?

We were deeply saddened to hear of June’s passing. She was a kind and gentle sole who was treasured by so many.
Her presence at our meetings and conventions will be missed. We all have so many wonderful memories of our time spent together and after all its those memories that keep our loved ones close to our hearts forever.
We will miss her laugh, the many stories and jokes she told, the “wink” and her beautiful smile. She made a difference in lives of so many. We are honoured to be a part of her Pythian family and very proud to call her our Sister. RIP June until we meet again. You do owe me a lobster roll!
In Pythian Love Always,
Sandy and George Symons

My mother (Iris Posell) was a long time friend of June. They met while both were living in New York many years ago....I grew up in New Jersey and can remember childhood visits with Aunt June. When my father passed away, June took my mother "under her wing" and they shared many travel adventures together!!!! My mother is now living in a long term care facility but has been trying to get in touch with June....I was happy to learn that some of the cards we sent finally reached her and she knew we were thinking about her! RIP Aunt June......love, iris and Donna

June was a great addition to the Pythian Order. She will be sadly missed by all her friends from both sides of the border. Still think back a few years when she joined my wife singing "black socks" , RIP June every time the kids sing that song it will remind us of you.
