Public visitations will be held on Monday, Feb.28 from 24 and 7-9 pm at Eagles Funeral Home. Masks will be required. Please call 902-396-4144 if planning to attend.
Funeral Service
A public funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday from the Church of The Holy Name. Masks are required.
The Road Not Taken

Gordon, Jimmy, Mark & family- Betty was a wonderful RT but an especially beloved friend to my Mom-Mary Dee. Sincere sympathy to Gordon, Jim, Mark and family. She loved you all so much. Betty was my assigned work partner when I started at the Aberdeen and we soon became great friends. We both later worked together in Pictou for many years. Her loss hurts my heart. I will miss her smile, her quick quiet wit and our little conversations. Betty was an inspiration. I remember her well, I knew her when I was a teen and she stayed with my great grandmother in tatamagouche. She was a breath of fresh air. She always felt like part of our family. She was so kind She was always positive, and helpful, she couldnt so enough and just a woman you wanted to be around. I'll never forget when my Nana passed away She held me and reminded me how much my Nana loved me. She was and I'm sure always was a gorgeous soul. Betty was a very loving, kind lady. She lived with our mother mother-in-law and nanny in Tatamagouche whiles was working at the LMFH . Her and nanny would be laughing at the silly things that either of them done. She was great company for Ethel and her and Gordie became part of our family. Ettyim sure you will be missed by many.
