I was so sorry to hear of Bydies passing. I hope it was peaceful. Please accept my condolences for all the family. We hadn't seen each other for quite a few years but when we did we remembered the good and bad times we had as kids and in school and the pipe band. I hope she drumming in heaven. Loved you girl ! Take care and God Bless everyone. Love Cookie

Our condolences on your loss. Bydie brought her talent and an appreciation of life with her to our Fraser Holmes Memorial Pipe Band some years ago, and we were all the better for it. Her dazzling smile and witty comebacks made hard work fun.

To Bydie’s family
Bydie will be missed by many and especially her family. I met Bydie when I joined the Fraser Holmes Memorial Ladies Pipe Band. I never met anybody with such a natural sense of humor and her singing was second to none. She told me she became a drummer because she could be in the band within a year as a drummer but it would take Two to be a piper…..she wanted to be in the band so badly.
Cherish your memories of her.I will too.
