His funeral service will be held at 20'clock on Saturday, May 5 from First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating.

I was saddened to hear of Uncle Chesley's passing. I was fortunate enough to find my birth family in 2014 and everyone who knows me said I was the spitting image of Uncle Chet. He was so kind and accepting of me and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. My sincere sympathy to all his family. He will be so full of joy being united with his soulmate Doreen. RIP Love you.

Sincere sympathy to all the family. I haven't seen Uncle Chet since his coffee treks to A&W but I have many memories of him and Aunt Doreen being a big part of our childhood, especially Christmases at Grandma Canning's. He was a wonderful man.
